Vaccination of newborns and children is an important part of paediatric care at ZPMH. This service is provided with the support of Expanded Programme of Immunization, Government of Sindh, under supervision of Specialists. Vaccines are stored in controlled environment to preserve their efficacy.
A dedicated team of vaccinators conducts vaccination clinics on alternate days each week. This service is free of cost. Vaccines, not provided in EPI programme, are administered at nominal cost. Polio camps are held regularly in the hospital.
